Cycling is the use of a bicycle for the means of transport, recreation or for sport. The Cycling competition consists of participants on road bikes competing in three cycling events; 1) a road race where athletes ride together in the peloton or a pack of riders, 2) a time trial where the athlete ride as an individual striving to make the best time, and 3) a hill climb, where the participant rides up a steep graded hill.
